This year is the 50th anniversary of NordicTrack, the number 1 selling treadmill brand in USA*. To celebrate this milestone, we’re reinventing treadmills for the next 50 years with the launch of the new NordicTrack Ultra 1.

Ultra 1 stands proudly at the intersection of design and innovation. It’s a visible design statement that is unique in the fitness industry. Our ambition when creating this was that it could fit naturally into any room in the home or designer hotel, which is why we launched this with a showcase at Art Basel Miami Beach. This focus on high-end quality is reinforced with the selection of materials and colors to ensure it feels as luxurious as it looks.

The new form is a result of many innovations to the function: when you walk towards it, the deck illuminates automatically; the uprights are made from a combination of both steel and light maple wood, and contain fans for full body cooling as well as speakers for incredible immersive sound.

A bronze oval ring houses the patent pending control levers which you can tap or push, moving them forward or backward to increase or decrease the speed and incline. Through development and testing, we identified this design as the simplest, most intuitive mechanism for users to adjust the intensity while on a run or hike.

The innovative, patent pending Stability Engine™ means that the deck is a separate piece from the uprights. So, no matter how hard and fast you sprint, the control area and display remain perfectly stable.

With an iFIT membership, iFIT trainers automatically control the speed and incline of your workout based on what you see them doing. And with iFIT’s SmartAdjust and ActivePulse technologies, workouts are fully personalized no matter what your level of fitness.
