Sticky Buns Recipe
Ingredients:
Dough
- 1 ½ tablespoons dry yeast
- ¾ cup scalded milk
- ¼ cup warm water
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup honey
- 1 ½ teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups whole wheat pastry flour
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
Filling
- 4 cups dates
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup milk
- 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ cup pecans, chopped
